Case Study - Dress for Success - The Selling Labs

Diagnostic

Corporate companies in Ireland partner with charities by providing funding and resources to support social causes. Dress for Success works with organisations to mentor women returning to the workforce with specialist workshops and masterclasses. Dress for Success needed assistance in identifying and partnering with these companies to help reach their organisational target of empowering 1,000 women to secure employment.  The Selling Labs was selected by the charity to create these sustainable commercial partnerships.

The Solution

The Selling Labs harnessed its experience of working with corporates to help Dress for Success get a deeper understanding of how large companies partner with philanthropic causes. It created a model to develop career workshops and mentoring programmes in conjunction with corporates.

The Method

The Selling Labs reviewed and renewed Dress For Success corporate relationships and researched new corporate social responsibility revenue opportunities for partners in the new environment post-COVID.

They selected companies of interest and created a polished communications pack to support the initial introductions and inspire ideas for corporates to engage with Dress through specialist career topic workshops and mentoring programmes. They then managed the day to day relationships of these new clients.

The Result

Feedback from Dress for Success was strong. Managing Director Natalie’s knowledge of how corporates work and how to engage commercially meant progress was rapid and efforts resulted in incremental revenue from multiple corporate clients. They managed the process from end to end,  keeping accurate records and updates to keep the numerous stakeholders informed.
